Frequently asked questions:

How long does it take Alistair Wager to build a bike?

3-6 months, depending on any special requirements that need to be accommodated.

If I commission a Supermono Strada today, what do I need to do?

Make a deposit of £1000 to secure your place in the queue. At the beginning of the build you’ll be asked to sign a contract and make an initial deposit of 33%.

Can I see the Supermono Strada?

We exhibit at many of the top shows and race events. Alternatively, you can make an appointment to visit Alistair’s workshop in Northampton.

Are the bikes registered?

They are UK registered with the relevant documentation.

Can I customise my bike with other parts?

We can accommodate the majority of changes after discussion and agreed price changes.

How does the Supermono Strada get its strength and lightness?

All the carbon fibre parts are pre-pregnated (pre-preg) - that is the resin is already impregnated into the woven carbon fibre. It is laid-up into a mould, then vacuum bagged and cured at high temperatures in an autoclave. This gives it immense strength for its lightness.
